Vegan Strawberry Mango Sorbet
My husband bought quite a few mangoes, and I immediately thought of a frozen treat. So I searched for mango sorbet and I found this recipe and decided to adapt it and include strawberries.
First, you will need to peel and cube two mangos and placed them in a measuring cup. Next cut the strawberries in half and add them to the measuring cup until you have about four cups of fruit. Place the fruit in a blender or food processor (I used a food processor). Add the juice of one orange and agave nectar to taste. I was happy with three tablespoons of agave.
Puree the mixture until smooth. Place in the aluminum freezer bowl of an ice cream maker and freeze overnight. If you have a different type of ice cream maker, follow the manufacturers directions. You could probably start this early in the morning to have a treat for the late evening. When the sorbet is properly frozen enjoy it immediately, or place it in a freezer safe container to keep it fresh.
